Here's How I Navigate Stressful Days

Happy Monday! One of my goals this year is to be more consistent with my newsletter. I love connecting with you guys in a way that isn’t related to social media.

I wanted to talk a little about how I navigate stressful days. The past week has been a hectic one (more on this later once everything is resolved). Prior to caring about my health, I would let this stress control my life: I would eat anything in sight, not leave my apartment, not exercise, and stress about things that are out of my control. Not anymore!

It is so important for you to understand that there is no point in stressing about things that are completely out of your control. I know that might be hard to wrap your head around, but if you have zero control over a stressful situation, there is no point in constantly worrying about it.

Focusing on my daily routine has been extremely helpful the past few days. When I wake up, I make my bed, make my coffee, check my emails, and go to the gym. I focus on getting my work done, maybe film some videos, and check in with my clients. From there I will prep my meals for the day and work through my daily to-do list.

I thrive off of structure, so keeping my Google Calendar up-to-date is very important for me.
